DESCRIPTION:The programme features music as beautiful as our theme painting*\, enhanced by brass and organ accompaniments. The full choir and Chamber choir (conducted by our scholars) will sing works as diverse as Daniel Pinkham’s Christmas Cantata for chorus\, organ and brass; Hodie Christus natus est by Sweelinck; Christmas motets by Francis Poulenc; Vom Himmel hoch and O little one sweet by JS Bach and many other seasonal pieces. \nThere will be traditional carols for both choir and audience\, so do come along and join in. \n2 December 2023 7:30 PM St Andrew’s Anglican Church\, 228 New Street\, Brighton Vic 3186 Bookings for Brighton\nSaturday\, 9 December 2023 2:30 PM Central Uniting Church Lydiard Street South Ballarat Bookings for Ballarat\nThe brass accompaniment to the Sweelink Hodie has been arranged by Scholar Hamish Madden. A top lineup of brass players has been engaged for what will be a most enjoyable concert.
