DESCRIPTION:French horn player Stefan Dohr represents his instrument second to none: as an acclaimed soloist\, chamber musician and Principal Horn of the Berlin Philharmonic he is an icon in the international landscape of wind instruments. Regardless of core repertoire for horn or contemporary compositions\, his interpretations are widely considered as exemplary. \nAs a soloist\, Dohr has worked with conductors such as Sir Simon Rattle\, Claudio Abbado\, Daniel Barenboim\, Bernhard Haitink\, Christian Thielemann and Daniel Harding and has been invited by orchestras such as the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra\, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra\, Oslo Philharmonic\, Shanghai Philharmonic\, NHK Symphony Orchestra and Osaka Philharmonic. \nInternational soloists come regularly to the Australian National Academy of Music to give master classes and mentor students on all instruments.  We can expect a very polished performance from this wind ensemble under Stefan’s inspirational guidance. \nR Strauss – Serenade in E flat major Op.7\, Berry – Opus Number Zoo\, Mozart – Serenade in E flat major K.375\, Beethoven -Rondino in E flat major WoO 25\, Globular – Avgustin\, dober je vin\, Rafa – Sinfonietta in F major Op.188
