DESCRIPTION:Here is a sublime collaboration between one of Australia’s finest sopranos and the pianists of ANAM\, in a program which includes two glorious 19th century song cycles. If you love Grieg’s music for Peer Gynt or his piano concerto\, you will be entranced by the songs he created about a young woman who is rejected by her lover and finds solace in nature and the powers of the underworld.
