Experience new sounds and indulge your senses in the colors and picturesque scenes painted by the flute and guitar \nDuo Vela performs enchanting music from across the seas\, giving audiences a taste of the sounds\, rhythms and cultures of different lands. The duo has brought their exciting programs to venues including the Eastman School of Music\, George Eastman Museum\, Robin Hixon Theatre\, Avaloch Farm and on both WXXI’s Backstage Pass with Julia Figueras and WRUR’s Open Tunings with Scott Regan. \nThis May – August\, Duo Vela will be venturing across the seas\, performing around thirty concerts in China\, Australia and New Zealand.
