DESCRIPTION:Australians will be treated to a unique opportunity to hear from one of the world’s greats\, when Piers Lane performs CHOPIN BY CANDLELIGHT; a beautiful selection of works by the much-loved composer\, presented by Andrew McKinnon and playing across Victorian venues this May. \nOne of Australia’s most internationally acclaimed pianists\, and artistic director of both the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and the Sydney International Piano Competition\, Lane has performed in the world’s great concert halls\, attracting remarkable reviews for his brilliant and sensitive performances. \nIn CHOPIN BY CANDLELIGHT\, the pianist will enthrall audiences with a breathtaking selection of music from the much-loved Romantic composer\, performed in the beautiful glow of candlelight. The concert will feature a variety of works\, including Fantasie in F minor Op. 49\, Etude in E major Op 10. No. 3 (Tristesse)\, Bacarolle   Op. 60\, and Polonaise in F sharp minor. \n  \nPiers Lane will be touring CHOPIN BY CANDLELIGHT at various venues nationally.
