The much-loved choral masterpiece Ein deutsches Requiem is a firm favourite with choristers and audiences alike. The lyrical and melodic St Cecilia’s Day, composed by George Loughlin in 1948, is set to John Dryden’s poem ‘A Song for St Cecilia’s Day’, written in 1687.
