Experience the music of Eastern Europe
From the festival of marriageable girls to the magic rites of the famous Calusarii, carrying roses and brandy to graves of the dead, and of course Dracula, it is music that gives meaning to these Romanian stories and customs.
With wild violin, accordion and double bass, Vardos are joined by Tim Meyen (Canberra), the only Australian musician to specialise in the haunting cimbalom (hammered dulcimer) music of Eastern Europe.
