Experience the heavenly beauty of Tchaikovsky’s sacred music through our performance of his nine sacred hymns.

Here Tchaikovsky explored how an unorthodox approach to orthodox prayer and hymns might sound. In doing so he challenged the traditional expectations of the Russian Orthodox Church, breaking the monopoly it held over the publication of sacred music in 19th century Russia.
