What better way to spend Mother’s Day than with the gift of music, showcasing an emerging chamber ensemble, Ensemble Contineo!
About the Artists:
Ensemble Contineo is a project focused on combining the old and the new. Whether it be through performance practise, application of old and new systems of analysis and general experimentation or through the literal juxtaposition of the classical cannon with modern repertoire/ new-music, the trio aims to highlight the musical and affecting characteristics of chamber music. Having first met in a new music group at Melbourne University, the ensemble formed in the second half of 2017, and under the tuition of Robert Nairn and David Griffiths, spent their first semester together rehearsing and performing the Brahms Clarinet Trio.
