Tempo Rubato: Caroline Henbest & Elizabeth Layton – Mozart, Martinů & Max

$20 – $30A chance to hear two of Australia’s leading string players in collaboration. Violinist Elizabeth Layton is Head of Classical Performance at the Elder Conservatorium, University of Adelaide, while Caroline Henbest is Resident Faculty at the Australian Academy of Music (ANAM).
Liz and Caroline have been friends since they were 10 years old, and have been performing together regularly over the last decade. They are thrilled to present two wonderful duos by Mozart, and the Czech Bohuslav Martinů’s Three Madrigals. They also play the nostalgic Farewell to Stromness by Peter Maxwell Davies, who was a friend and collaborator of Liz’s when she lived in Scotland before moving to Australia.
