Join us for a wonderful concert of music by Tchaikovsky alongside works by composers who influenced him: Mendelssohn, Liadov, Raff and Mozart. Tchaikovsky described Mendelssohn’s music as ‘dangerously seductive’, so thrill to the Ruy Blas Overture; we’ll hear Joachim Raff’s delightful Cavatina for violin and strings and Liadov’s haunting Enchanted Lake before Tchaikovsky’s Symphony number 2, ‘Little Russian’. Conductor Robert Dora.
