Street Requiem

Street Requiem is a new choral work that aims to bring a sense of peace, remembrance and hope to many communities, struggling to come to terms with street violence and a loss of safety on our streets.
Conceived by the award-winning conductor and Founding Artistic Director of the School of Hard Knocks, Dr Jonathon Welch AM, Street Requiem is collaboratively written with Dr Kathleen McGuire, recently returned from the USA after creating the “Singers of the Street” in San Francisco, and Director of Curriculum for the School of Hard Knocks, Andy Payne.
Seating: General Admission. Please make sure you arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to the performance start time. If you require wheelchair access please call our Box Office on 8290 7000.
