St Paul’s Cathedral Lunchtime Concert Series: Haiqing Leo Liu (piano)

Haoqing Leo Liu, a Year 11 student at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, studies piano with Glenn Riddle. Leo has garnered multiple accolades, notably securing 1st Prize in the 2022 Steinway Youth Piano Competition and PolMusicA Polish Music Competition. He will perform Carl Vine Piano Sonata No. 1, Antoni Stolpe Piano Sonata in D minor, Henryk Pachulski Prelude in C minor, and Chopin Étude in G-flat major.

About our Lunchtime Concert Series:
A series of lunchtime concerts was launched in April 2013 to encourage city workers and others to come into and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Cathedral during the day. These concerts at 1pm on Wednesdays provide fine music and space for contemplation in the midst of a busy week.
