3 soloists, chorus, strings, 2 oboes d’amore and continuo, presented in liturgical context. St Johns Bach Choir and Orchestra dir. Graham Lieschke, with Sally-Anne Russell (mezzo soprano), Robert Macfarlane (tenor) and Oliver Mann (bass).
This completes the series presenting the nine Bach cantatas with texts by Christiana Mariana von Ziegler, a progressive 18th century female Leipzig poet.
