Selby & Friends – Triple Treat

Beethoven features prominently in this incredible program featuring two of our favourite guest artists – Susie Park and Timo-Veikko Valve with Kathryn Selby.

The highlight of this program is a work that wowed audiences when programmed years ago – Beethoven’s virtuosic Triple Concerto in Carl Reinecke’s stunning 1866-67 arrangement for piano trio. The program also includes two piano trios by Beethoven composed at vastly different stages of the master’s compositional output – the charming early work, Op.11 and the great E-flat Trio, Op.70 No.2, the sibling to the Ghost Trio. Another amazing program of artistic brilliance and genius to be savoured.
