GRAINGER: THE COMPLETE MUSIC FOR FOUR HANDS, TWO PIANOS
(Penelope Thwaites, John Lavender and Timothy Young).
It’s on Sunday 30 October 2016 at 2.30 pm, at Melba Hall, Faculty of Music, Royal Parade, The University of Melbourne. Timothy and I will present an effervescent sampler programme on the superb Melba Hall Steinways.
The Box Set, just released on the Heritage label, includes 40 tracks unique to this series.
The variety will amaze you.
Signed copies will be available.
At the same occasion, we shall have – also just out this month – copies of the paperback edition of the indispensable guide to Grainger’s music The New Percy Grainger Companion.
