Opera in the Alps will celebrate its 23rd year on Saturday 19 January 2019 with the Three Tenors Spectacular – a concert experience not to be missed!
At one of the largest Australian outdoor events of its kind, patrons can watch the sun go down and the stars come out on the fairway of the beautiful Beechworth Golf Course whilst being treated to an unforgettable night of the best of opera, music theatre and classic favourites.
Boasting an impressive line up, Opera in the Alps is excited to welcome back platinum selling artist Mark Vincent, together with Opera Australia’s Nicholas Jones and Sun Aria Winner Brenton Spiteri. The Three Tenors will be accompanied by a full symphony orchestra, 70 voice chorus and directed by one of the country’s most talented and entertaining conductors, Maestro Guy Noble.
Once again audience members can have their say in choosing the Opera Scholar of the Year. Three young finalists will be singing the most beautiful arias, competing for the award and $5000 prize. Votes for the audience favourite will be collected at interval and considered by the Judges.
Gates open at 5.30pm allowing guests to enjoy the spectacular setting, the regional produce or alternatively, patrons may choose to experience the delicious Premium Dining or Tapas packages inclusive of concert tickets and delectable food and wine options.
