Of Rivers and Trees – A concert of diverse new music

This important concert of new music in Albert Park, much with environmental themes, brings together some of Australia’s leading composers and the most wonderful performers. Songs by Johanna Selleck and Alan Holley will be sung by soprano Elspeth Bawden with pianist Kevin Tamanini. Virtuosic new works for trumpet and guitar by Andrian Pertout and Paul Moulatlet will be played by Joel Brennan & Ken Murray, trumpet & guitar. Bass flute superstar Peter Sheridan performs solos by Philip Czaplowski and Holley and works by Haydn Reeder, Colin McKellar & Ken Murray will be played by Ken Wei, guitar, Kevin Tamanini, piano and flautist Johanna Selleck.
