About the concert
Regarded as one of his greatest accomplishments, Dvořák’s Symphony No. 7 shines alongside the sophisticated modernity of Nicholas Buc’s Trumpet Concerto, featuring guest soloist Josh Rogan (Sub-Principal Trumpet of the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra) before John Adams’ The Chairman Dances leads a rapturous foxtrot to conclude the evening.
