Musica Viva presents the Eggner Trio

The Eggner brothers light up the stage, sharing their joy in playing music full of warmth and passion. Robert Schumann’s third Trio partners Dvořák’s irresistible ‘Dumky’; Brahms’ Trio no 1 sits alongside Clara Schumann’s op 17. At the centre of each program is the richly satisfying Trio written in Melbourne, 1944, by Australia’s Dulcie Holland.
