Miranda Brockman was born into a large musical family in Geelong, studied a Masters Degree in Music Performance at Melbourne University and won her current position as permanent cellist with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra in 1999. Miranda has performed as principal cellist and as soloist with a variety of orchestras in Australia. She was a founding member of Trio Anima Mundi and the Lyric Piano Trio and is a regular recitalist across a number of Victorian regional centres.
Dr Kenji Fujimura is an internationally-acclaimed pianist, and chamber musician. Recent CD recording awards include Fanfare USA Colin Clarke’s ‘Top 5 Want List’, Limelight Chamber Music Recording of the Year, Musicweb International Recording of the Year etc. Kenji is Deputy and Artistic Director at the International Academy of Musical Arts, an examiner for the AMEB, and on the piano staff of the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music. He is also co-founder of Trio Anima Mundi and Patron of the Association of Eisteddfod Societies of Australia.
