Take a peek behind the scenes at an open rehearsal with Principal Conductor Benjamin Northey.
Join the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra for an hour in some of the best seats in the house, as Ben and the musicians of the MSO rehearse their program. You’ll be able to eavesdrop on the dialogue between conductor and orchestra and see a fascinating part of putting on a symphonic performance.
Repertoire in this open rehearsal will be drawn from the program of Stravinsky & Chindamo. Please note that due to this being a working rehearsal we cannot guarantee that specific repertoire will be featured.
This event will run for approximately one hour, however the exact duration of this rehearsal is subject to the conductor’s discretion on the day.
