From the Renaissance to modern motets
The MSO Chorus explores the music of Renaissance composer Tomás Luis de Victoria, famous for his motets, and complementary modern works including Australian composer Joseph Twist’s motet that pays tribute to Victoria himself.
Gabriel Jackson’s To The Field of Stars also makes a welcome return, originally co-commissioned and premiered by the MSO Chorus in 2011.
