Jonathon Ramsay – currently Principal Trombone at the Berlin Philharmonic – brings to life Joe Chindamo’s Ligeia. Based on the short story by Edgar Allan Poe, Chindamo explores psychological duality in this wildly virtuosic meditation on the macabre.
Based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet and adapted by Stephen Sondheim, Bernstein’s score to West Side Story is hailed as one of the most brilliant achievements in musical theatre history.
