Now celebrating its 8th year, the Melbourne International Singers Festival showcases world renowned artists, performers and educators in the magnificent venues in Melbourne’s art precinct.
We are thrilled to announce that our guest conductor this year is one of Australia’s pre-eminent and most admired conductors, Richard Gill AO, founding Music Director and Conductor Emeritus of Victoria Opera. Richard will lead our massed choir rehearsals, workshops & concerts over the festival weekend.
Richard specialises in opera, musical theatre and vocal & choral training and is internationally respected as a music educator. His work in developing young musicians and creating opportunities for them is recognised worldwide.
