Join the Preston Symphony Orchestra for its first concert of 2017 to celebrate encounters between music and film. The programme includes soundtracks and TV themes, plus 2 screenings accompanied by live music: an excerpt of Charlie Chaplin’s 1916 film The Vagabond with a specially commissioned score by Melbourne composer Tim Lukey, and a new film by John Power in response to Borodin’s In the Steppes of Central Asia.
