Anja & Zlatna present a program that bursts with the vitality and diversity of folk music from Europe and the Balkans. Songs wishing well for newly-weds share company with the complaints of exhausted mothers, whilst the exotic scales of Turkish classical music melt into the haunting ethereal world of Bulgarian lament.
Punctuated with letters from one particular intrepid traveller, Letters from Abroad is your very own picture-perfect tour from Melbourne.
