Labyrinth is a trio founded on the creativity and spontaneity that improvisation brings to classical music. They formed in 2022 after having met at the Australian National Academy of Music. Their love of chamber music and interest in improvisation within contemporary art music inspired them to explore a more unbeaten path in music.

Their name comes from their favourite place to improvise outdoors, the Merri Creek Labyrinth.
