Heraldic Handel and Magnificent Mozart

Heidelberg Choral Society and orchestra presents a classic selection of choruses by Handel and Mozart.
Conducted by Peter Bandy, with solos by soprano Teresa Ingrilli, Heraldic Handel & Magnificent Mozart will be an uplifting afternoon of singing to captivate the senses.
Handel composed nearly 30 oratorios and many other choral works, and this selection includes arias and choruses from Saul, Solomon, Samson and more, that showcase the breadth and depth of Handel’s compositional skills, from the intricate harmonies to the soaring melodies, from joyful celebrations to grandeur and majesty.
While ‘mostly Handel’, the concert will be rounded out by two pieces by Mozart featuring soloist and choir, including the beautiful and serene ‘Laudate Dominum’.
