HAMER SINGERS – As One Who Has Slept

This is an ‘a cappella’ concert conducted by acclaimed choral and artistic director Jonathan Grieves-Smith. The composers featured in our debut concert in the stunning acoustics of St Patrick’s Cathedral are among the most ingenious choral composers from USA, Canada, UK, Latvia, Estonia and Russia. The program’s theme is sleep as rest for the living and the dead, and about twilight and darkness when anything seems possible beneath the stars and the heavens.

But it’s also about awakening, a fitting motif for Melbourne’s newest choir.
