Ensemble Goldentree presents the first HIP Pocket Project – a pocket sized concert focused on Historically Informed Performance. Stephen Marsh (baritone) and Alison McIntosh-Deszcz (soprano) will be joined by an ensemble of nine musicians, including dedicated early-music specialists performing on period instruments, lead by Arun Patterson (violin).
Bach’s good-humoured “Peasant Cantata” will be paired with a curated suite of Rameau overtures edited and chosen by Arun Patterson and Hannah Spracklan-Holl.
