Revered concert pianist Brian Chapman is a pillar of Melbourne’s music scene with over 55 years of experience across three continents. Chapman’s extensive discography, including over 100 studio recordings and broadcasts for the ABC highlight his exceptional talent and artistry.
Together, Bijl and Chapman take audiences on a journey with Chant du Saxophone Ténor (The Song of the Tenor Saxophone). Exploring timeless masterpieces by Beethoven, Schubert, Schumann, and Glazunov, the saxophone defies all preconceived notions with its expressive power and astonishing versatility.
