Classical Masters

The Melbourne Musicians directed by Frank U.Pam present an easy listening program of works b y 4 classical masters with 3 outstanding soloists. Acclaimed oboist Anne Gilby plays the popular Cimarosa Oboe Concerto in C minor, arranged by Arthur Benjamin; Mia Yang plays Haydn Violin Concerto No.1 in C major and David Soo plays Beethoven’s brilliant and exciting Piano Concerto No.1 in C major, Op.15 as well as Mozart’s delightful Rondo in D major, K.382, written as an entertaining alternative Finale to his PIano Concerto No.5. It was encored several times in Vienna and elsewhere and he regarded it so highly that he restricted its performance to himself and his sister Nannerl.
