Fiercely dedicated to creating new ecosystems for the music of our time, Chase has premiered hundreds of works by a new generation of artists. As the first flautist to be awarded both a MacArthur Fellowship and the Avery Fisher Prize for Classical Music from Lincoln Centre, she has performed with prestigious orchestras including the New York Philharmonic, London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Munich Chamber Orchestra.

Performing Sex Magic by acclaimed Australian composer Liza Lim, this evocative work explores an alternative cultural perspective of women’s power, the life-making forces of childbirth, and the womb centre as a site of divinatory wisdom and utterance.
