In honour of Palestrina’s 500th birthday, join us for an afternoon of his lush and intricate sacred Italian madrigals, including excerpts of Petrach’s Marian devotional cycle, Le Vergine. We will also perform a selection of his lesser-known motets, such as the striking Vexilla Regis.
Join us for an afternoon that uncover the depth and diversity of one of Renaissance’s greatest composers.
