Three centuries of music is covered in our final concert for 2022, Chairman and the Trumpet. Starting with the 19th and Dvorak’s great Symphony No. 7, the program then moves to the 21st and the premiere of Nicholas Buc’s exhilarating Trumpet Concerto written especially for our brilliant soloist, Josh Rogan. Drawing the season to a close is The Chairman Dances, John Adams’ rapturous foxtrot and one of 20th centuries’ most popular compositions.
