The final of the prestigious Boroondara Eisteddfod Piano Concerto Award hits the Hawthorn Arts Centre stage.
Three finalists will be accompanied by the Camerata Orchestra, Boroondara’s own orchestra, under the baton of conductor Doug Heywood OAM.
In pursuit of the coveted Piano Concerto Award, three virtuosic young pianists will perform thrilling works by Prokofiev, Schumann and Rachmaninoff.
The Boroondara Eisteddfod attracts adjudicators who are leading educators and industry professionals. Their feedback is invaluable for finalists, and for audience members wanting to enrich their knowledge and performance appreciation.
The annual competition brings together talented musicians of all ages to share in the joy of performing, offering a platform to enhance their musicianship in a positive and supportive environment.
