Bach Sonatas

In a transcontinental meeting of musical spirits, Peninsula Summer Music Festival director Julia Fredersdorff and French harpsichordist Aline Zylberajch perform an intimate recital showcasing Bach’s sonatas for violin and keyboard.

Written at the height of Bach’s compositional powers, these sonatas take the form of duos in which the instruments interact conversationally. Revered for their wonderfully emotive sound-world, and full of colour and texture, they are brought to life by two of the world’s leading historically-informed performers.
