The concert opens with Reba Dance, Fang Kejie’s award-winning work of raw, driving energy inspired by the spirited folk dances of Tibet. Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante follows — an elegant showcase of dialogue and balance between violin and viola.
Francis Poulenc’s Piano Concerto brings French wit and flair, moving effortlessly between playful brilliance and lyrical warmth. The evening closes with Ming Wang’s Hai Xia Suite, a richly textured work blending Chinese musical themes with cinematic atmosphere. Featuring acclaimed soloists Glenn Riddle (piano), Zoë Black (violin), and Caroline Henbest (viola), this vibrant and diverse program is presented by ANGO as part of its acclaimed Spring Blossom, Autumn Harvest series.
