Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Symphony in E-flat major, Wq 179
Johann Sebastian Bach Concerto in C minor for oboe & violin, BWV 1060R
The Bachs are the first family of Baroque. Over nearly 300 years, they produced tens of thousands of works – distinct in style but united in their musical brilliance.
Eminent Baroque violinist Shunske Sato will lead the Brandenburg as Guest Director in an ‘All of Bach’ program showcasing works at the pinnacle of their form. Fellow Netherlands Bach Society member and long-time Brandenburg friend, Emma Black will join in JS Bach’s reconstructed Concerto for oboe and violin and other great works.
Experience two internationally acclaimed interpreters of Baroque music and hear lesser-known works by members of the prodigious Bach family.
