The Australian Boys Choir continues their 2023 season with this concert of choral classics. Singers on stage will include the Training Choirs of the Australian Boys Choral Institute, as well as the outstanding voices of The Vocal Consort.
From the sparkling motet ‘Lobet den Herrn’ by J.S. Bach to works by Byrd, Michael Haydn, Mendelssohn and Australia’s own Dulcie Holland and Joseph Twist, this concert will conclude with a rousing massed performance of the famous Widor Toccata arranged for voices and grand organ.
