Andre Jolivet’s Sérénade for Wind Quintet channels the composer’s obsession with mythology and ancient, primal music-making practices. Followed by a world premiere by winner of the 2021 Arcadia Winds Composition Prize, Alex Turley’s new composition is destiny-in-the-marking.
