Acord 2023 season concert 1: The Fifteen Joys of Our Lady

Books of Hours were personal prayer books, but the words were the formal Latin of the Liturgy. Except in many cases for Les Quinze Joies de Nostre Dame, addressed to Mary directly: fifteen events in her life, fifteen pleas for her intercession, and fifteen Ave Marias. Acord presents the fifteen joys of Mary in song, narration and images.
The fifty minute concert will be followed by the usual refreshments and chat.
