Inspired by Paris: A Trombone Hero Concert

Conservatorium string, wind, brass and percussion staff present a program of beautiful, lively and lyrical music for mixed chamber ensembles.

Featuring Jean Françaix’ witty and mischievous L’heure du Berger, Récréation, a delightful quartet by fellow Frenchman Pierre Gabaye, Swinging Music by the Paris-trained Polish master Kazimierz Serocki, and a centennial performance of George Antheil’s Symphony for Five Instruments.
