The Tudor Choristers, Melbourne, under new director Dr Kathleen McGuire, present a program of sacred music which includes Telemann’s missa brevis supra Christ lag in Todesbanden (in honour of the 250th anniversary of the composer’s death), Franz Biebl’s sublime Ave Maria, and the Australian premiere of Benedictus by American composer Ilyas Iliya.
