Consort of Melbourne: Visions of tomorrow

On Wednesday 4 March 2015 at 6pm the Consort of Melbourne will present Visions of tomorrow, the first concert in their 2015 Recital Centre Local Heroes series entitled Legacy.

This stunning programme explores the notion of musical legacy through the art of the forward-thinking composers of yesteryear, including Hildegard, Pérotin, Solage, Lassus and Gesualdo.

These Medieval, Renaissance and early Baroque works are presented alongside equally ground-breaking works from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.
