Singapore’s flagship orchestra makes its spectacular Australian debut.
In their long-awaited Australian debut, the internationally acclaimed Singapore Symphony Orchestra will be joined by 17-year-old violin sensation Chloe Chua. This promises to be a spectacular performance, here at Hamer Hall.
Conducted by artistic director Hans Graf and featuring Australian-born principal cellist Pei-Sian Ng, the SSO will perform a selection of iconic pieces including; Brahms’s final orchestral work, the 1887 Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, Tchaikovsky’s towering Fifth Symphony. The Orchestra will also perform Luciola Singapura — a shimmering new work by young Singaporean composer Koh Cheng Jin.
