Andrey Gugnin Recital

$30 – $84Piano+ presents a lyrical evening of virtuosic passion with Andrey Gugnin at the Melbourne Recital Centre on 1 November.
These concerts will mark the return by Andrey to Australia since his highly successful national tour in 2017, appearances at the Coriole Festival in 2018 and concerto collaborations with the Sydney and West Australian Symphony Orchestra before the pandemic.
The recital will include works by Edvard Grieg, Pyotr Tchaikovsky, Australian composer Carl Vine, along with the achingly beautiful 3 Bagatelles by lesser-known Valentin Silvestrov before concluding with Stravinsky/Agnosti’s insanely challenging The Firebird.
Andrey Gugnin returns to the Australian stage for performances that will demonstrate his internationally awarded pianistic skill.
