Masahide Kurita has an extensive repertoire from Baroque music to contemporary music. His highly polished technique, rich tone and outstanding technical virtuosity culminate in sensitive and profound musicality.
Kenji Fujimura is known for his ‘…beautiful tone control, luminous colour, enhanced of course by a seemingly effortless technical mastery’. A champion of both new music and music which has been unduly neglected, his awards as pianist include Musicweb International and Limelight Chamber Music Recordings of the Year.
Their performance in Primrose Potter Salon presents works by composers who were inspired by folk songs, landscapes and national music traditions from Sweden, Taiwan-Japan, Turkey, Hungary and America.
Their passion for chamber music spans genres, countries and eras, exploring intersections of culture in music across time and continents.
