Friday 3 January, 4pm & 6.30pm
Peter de Jager, one of Australia’s most unique and versatile musicians, breathes new life into two foundational works of keyboard music, Beethoven’s intensely stormy “Appassionata” Sonata, which opened new realms of instrumental sonority, and Bach’s Partita in E Minor, an outpouring of deep inner torment.
These works have long held a fascination for Peter, and he draws upon many years of meditations upon them to craft a truly captivating experience.
Peter is regularly acclaimed as one of Australia’s most outstanding artists, his keyboard skills are beyond compare and his performances not to be missed.
